I have spend the entire day installing a different type of forum. The option was closing the channel, but my staff and I felt nostalgic about IRC and didn't really wanted to close the channel on IRC. We ended up with a totally new idea... Scanlations are definately NOT to make profit with. Though we are missing the last proof. We can see some chapters provided for free, but it's been said that you gotta pay if you want to see more. This as a fact, we were talking about what we could do about it and came to the solution to increase the watermarking on our releases. Now, every page will have a watermark with website, irc-channel or the hint about it being a file for FREE and where to find it. We know this might not... By this way, we'd like to mention that we still would like to have one more helping hand regarding the additional and co-translations of our texts. Help with that would be more than loved. All texts are marked so that the text passages that you need to look at/fill is standing out. It is not that much work than working yourself through an unmarked script. The raws would be japanese ones for the additional and co-translations. Some have furigana, others don't. However, our lovely translator coordinator, Yuiri, would provide you with helpful Kanji pronouncing on no furigana stuff. Renai Gengogaku by Takaku Shouko (We received the entire translations, the book yet has to be ordered) 5. Uwasa no Futari by Matsumoto Temari (This project is licensed in germany which put us in a bit of a troublesome spot. I ended up deciding to release the last chapter that I have and then that's it...) All above listed projects, as far as there are releases exsisting from MFY, are NOT having any direct downloads yet.
